DMCA & Copyright Policy

Quebec Premium IPTV respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and rights holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent copyright legislation applicable in Canada, including the Canadian Copyright Act. This policy explains our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims.

1. Our Content Licensing Position

Quebec Premium IPTV operates as a lawful reseller of IPTV subscription services and does not host, store, or originate the content delivered through the Service. All channels and video-on-demand content are sourced from licensed content providers and distributors. We are committed to ensuring our operations respect applicable Canadian and international copyright laws.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement (Takedown Notice)

If you are a copyright owner or authorised agent and believe that content accessible through quebecpremiumiptv.ca infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent.

Your notice must include ALL of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — The specific URL(s) or sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing content on quebecpremiumiptv.ca.
  3. Your contact information — Full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
  4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to [email protected].

Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed content — Description and URL(s) of the material removed or disabled, and its location before removal.
  2. Statement under penalty of perjury — That you have a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  3. Contact information — Full name, address, phone number, and email.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction — That you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Quebec, Canada, and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  5. Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content at our discretion.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

  • Accounts subject to multiple valid copyright infringement notices will be reviewed.
  • Quebec Premium IPTV reserves the right to terminate subscriptions of users determined to be repeat infringers.
  • Termination for repeat infringement does not entitle the user to a refund.

5. Misuse of the DMCA Process

Filing a false DMCA takedown notice is a serious legal matter. Under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent laws including the Canadian Copyright Act, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney fees.
